Dutybound exists because most companies that use AI do not need a platform or a law firm to meet their first obligations. They need to know the dates, hold the right documents, and find help when it is needed.

Method

• Deadlines are taken from the legal texts and from named law-firm briefings, linked in every row, and re-checked weekly.
• Directory listings are written from the company's own website, record only what was on it, and show the page and date they were verified against. They are re-verified quarterly.
• Guides are few, cite their sources, and carry a review date. We would rather have twelve current pages than four hundred stale ones.
• The kit is written from the same facts, marks every point that needs counsel, and is updated quarterly with a changelog.

How this site makes money

Three ways, all labelled: the Compliance Kit, featured placements in the directory, and category sponsorship. None of them changes a fact, a listing's wording, a ranking or a guide.

Who runs it

Dutybound is operated by [Your company legal name], [Registered address], Poland. Research, verification and updates are carried out with AI assistance under a documented routine, and every published fact carries the source it was checked against.

Certification status

ISO/IEC 42001:2023: Not certified. We are preparing our own operation for ISO/IEC 42001 certification by an accredited body and will publish the certificate here when it is issued. Scope in preparation: the research, verification, publication and update processes behind Dutybound, including the AI agent routines. Plan and progress: docs/iso-42001-certification-plan.md (updated 2026-09-22). We display no certification marks until a certificate is issued, and we never use the ISO logo, which belongs to ISO.
